IFRS 9 Financial Instruments gepubliceerd

De International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) heeft met de publicatie van IFRS 9 Financial Instruments het laatste element voltooid van zijn uitgebreide reactie op de financiu00eble crisis. De nieuwe standard treedt op 1 januari 2018 in werking, maar mag eerder toegepast worden. 'The package of improvements introduced by IFRS 9 includes a logical model for classification and measurement, a single, forward-looking 'expected loss' impairment model and a substantially-reformed approach to hedge accounting,' aldus de IASB.
